Submissions!

Devil’s Hour currently accepts short stories and flash fiction. Anything goes, just make sure your work is queer and horror related.

Currently, submissions are un-themed. But I might be planning a micro themed submission call for October 1st (or earlier).

This is an online publication, run on substack!

Short stories are 2.5-5k words max. But if you go a couple hundred over, no big deal.

Flash stories are between 1-2k.

No need for a cover letter or anything of the sort, but feel free to tell me your favorite horror writer, movie, novel, or what have you.

Submit a google doc or word doc. Double space not necessary, just make it a font I can read!!
